Government legislation around social value has changed.

From January 1st 2021, all public procurement over £20million is now required to explicitly evaluate social value, qualitatively as well as quantitatively. This is just the beginning of the new way we approach the Why of what we do.

Sarah Lambshead

With over 15 years in the construction sector and a passion for people and the communities we live in, I help built environment businesses find the strategic vision for their purpose beyond profit.

Working together, we can explore, embed, measure and evolve your approach to social value and the impact you can have, in innovative ways that align with your values and identity.

Our approach is designed to progressively launch more ambitious ways of achieving meaningful, purposeful, scalable social value in the communities in which you and your clients build.

Sarah Birkby

With over 16 years experience in architectural marketing and business development, I’m able to help construction professionals communicate effectively with clients and end-users.

My role is both strategic and creative: finding new ways to listen and communicate - in words and pictures - in the context of procurement, community engagement, project consultation and post-completion reporting.

At S2, we help businesses measure what matters most: tapping into the skills, vision and purpose at the core of each organisation, elevating your strategy from simple compliance to delivering beneficial change.
